Dutch homegrown startups have created 130,000 jobs

Dutch start-ups have created 130,000 current jobs in the Netherlands, according to a report by dealroom.co, technleap.nl and the CBRE property advisory group.

Their third ‘startup employment report’, which analyses the effect of businesses founded here since 1990, has measured the impact of 6,100 companies.

It claims that Dutch start-ups currently offer 130,000 jobs, an 8% annual growth since 2018, and that most roles nowadays are not just for tech jobs such as engineers and developers.
